Since 1992, we have been an important part in the supply chains of companies, big and small. Our corporate culture, commitment to accuracy, and technological abilities have helped us remain competitive since those early days. Ethics

• D&B Logistics, Inc. ensures excellent carrier relations, but we have NO affiliations or financial arrangements with carriers. We are beholden to our clients, and have no other agendas.
• Transparency is essential to our business, as such, we do not hide processes or data from our clients.
• We are committed to not off-shore or send things to a “Back Office”. Clients are handled by our US based workers, and they have names and email addresses that are available directly to your employees.

Spirit

• A can do attitude: Our clients require a provider that wants to help, and we recognize that it is our job to do whatever we can, in a timely manner, to give them the right data, in the format you need.
• True Service: It is our pleasure to go above and beyond whenever possible.

Accuracy

• We audit based on decades of experience and a rate database we built specifically for speed and consistency
• We capture ACTUAL weights, not just ball park or estimates from the shipping desk
• We Data Control, Double Key Verify, Trend Watch, and more to ensure accuracy in the data provided

Scanning

• We scan all invoices with the backup documentation (this includes Customs, BOLs, Delivery receipts, Weight Certificates, etc.)
• We maintain and keep available all images for when you need them
• Our Imaged documents contain original audit marks, to show why, when invoices have been adjusted.
• We make 6 months of images are available on our website 24/7. The rest are available on request with 24 hours, and we are currently upgrading to bring 12 months of live on-line images.

EDI

• We process EDI for locations in the US and Canada
• Due to our stringent data management standards, we can provide BOTH the original EDI text and a human readable Facsimile for these records.
• We host FTP so you and your carriers can forgo the expense of a Value Added Network (VAN)

Banking

• With accounts in multiple countries, we can pay and be funded in native currencies
• We store the exchange rate used for that each record, allowing full reporting and reconciliation in BOTH currencies, and allowing comparison for Apples to Apples.
• Due to proprietary technology, we actively monitor all checks for irregularities, and stop fraud before funds are placed in jeopardy
• We mail checks within 24 hours of funding
• We require full reconciliation of accounts
• We welcome client auditors to look at the accounts, and gladly assist them each and every time they come
• We produce Weekly and Monthly Check Registers, along with custom funding reports

Our Technology

• When we say “Our Technology”, we mean, we built it, maintain it, and own every line of it. It’s not an off the shelf solution that can’t be changed.
• We built it just for our company with our own staff programmers, and better yet, these programmers work 5 days a week at our locations, and are available to talk directly with our client’s employees.
• We don't believe in trouble tickets. It's our opinion that requests should be received personally, not processed by some time slicing processes.
• We build on the technologies requested most (Microsoft Standards like Access, Excel, Adobe Acrobat). But if you have custom needs, we can accommodate those as well.
• All Reports and Programs are custom, and remain customizable, without the need to create a study group, write a purchase order, or wait until the “Next Release Date”
• Our Web Technology also makes your invoices researchable to you and your carriers
• Our Web Portal makes available Routing Guidance, our custom Rate Engine, Ad-Hoc Reports, and much more available to your employees, 24/7
• We use your provided files from your systems and we produce files for your systems. Our clients can use they systems they want, from Mainframes to Super Computers.
